The initial Appeal launched in 2002 in The Louth Leader was a great success and the superb sum of £260,000 was raised - £10,000 in excess of our target.

We are to launch an APPEAL 2008 to enable the Hospice to ensure that the new HOSPICE is opened in Spring 2009.

The EVAN CORNISH FOUNDATION have made a donation of £1 million to enable us to make good progress with the building of the new hospice, however, we still need to raise £s for this work and the new Appeal will be launched in May 2008. In addition to cash donations it will be possible to donate skills and time to help with the building work and landscape gardening.

Local people have worked tirelessly, organising many different fundraising events of all descriptions to help with our work.

Many local businesses and organisations have been very generous in donating their services to the hospice and we are very grateful for the equipment and services that they have provided and without which we could not hope to succeed.
