To date many individuals, organisations and companies have made great efforts to support Louth & District Hospice and as you have already supported us I am writing to you to see if you might be interested in becoming a member of the Charity.

We are aware that a great many people have already been very generous in their support, however, by joining the Charity we hope you will be able to help us maintain our profile locally and support the work of Louth & District Hospice in the future.

As you may be aware Louth and District does not have any dedicated organisation that solely focuses on providing palliative care to those with life threatening illnesses and care and support for their families and this was the major reason behind the formation of the Charity.

The Company Secretary, Dale Crombleholme, has outlined the legal status of the Charity and the individual responsibility which membership would involve.

The Trustees have decided that each member should pay a minimum subscription each year of £10-00 and this subscription entitles Members to attend general meetings, speak on any issues relating to the Charity and receive copies of a Newsletter which we intend to publish at least four times a year.
